Families faced with childhood cancer are often stretched emotionally, financially, physically and spiritually – sometimes even to the breaking point. In March of 2010, Blue Skies Ministries was launched to bring the hope of Christ to families living through pediatric cancer.

Bark For Life is a non-competitive fundraising dog walk event that honors the care-giving qualities of canine companions and cancer survivors (human and canine). It’s the canine version of the Gwinnett Relay For Life featuring an opening ceremony, the walk, games, entertainment, and fundraising opportunities ~ compressed into a fun-filled Saturday morning.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Atlanta Affiliate is the local resource for
women who need breast cancer screening, treatment, education and support. Through
annual events, including the Race for the Cure, and individual contributions, Komen
Atlanta raises funds that enable women to detect and survive breast cancer.

Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is the premier international organization dedicated
to the critical issues unique to young women and breast cancer. YSC works with survivors,
caregivers and the medical, research, advocacy and legislative communities to increase
the quality and quantity of life for women diagnosed with breast cancer ages 40
and under.

Community Consulting Teams—Atlanta was founded in Boston in 1990, and expanded to
Atlanta in 1996. From modest beginnings, CCT today undertakes 15-20 projects each
year, staffed by more than 100 volunteers from around metro Atlanta. Cumulatively
since 1996, CCT has helped more than 100 nonprofit organizations.
