BizTalk Implementation Yields Maximum Retail Efficiency and Customer Feedback
Formed in 1985, Macy’s Systems & Technology (MST) consolidates the diverse data processing operations of Macy's, Inc. (Macy's). MST provides an integrated line of high-performance retail, electronic commerce, and data warehouse systems for use at all levels within Macy's. MST management works closely with department store divisions, the corporate office and merchandise vendors to identify new opportunities and ensure that Macy's systems can adapt to changing business conditions.
Macy’s Systems & Technology contacted Innovative Architects with the need to migrate to a newer BizTalk server, as well as to implement better inventory buying and replenishment and customer feedback interfaces. The Innovative Architects BizTalk Application Development and Server team prepared the migration to BizTalk 2013, and provided one-on-one BizTalk training and support throughout the process.
Major BizTalk integrations that helped Macy’s standardize business resources included inventory buying and replenishment and customer feedback interfaces. Additionally, IA provided guidance and the initial development for automated testing mechanisms for various components serving the integrations. The IA team passed on knowledge to help MST employees to strengthen their overall knowledge on the development and infrastructure of BizTalk, enabling them to successfully and efficiently capitalize their needs from the new interfaces.
